DOG FOOD COMMERCIAL "CEL"

In this illustration, I wanted to capture the look and style of the 1950s animated television commercials.

  2. I agree with Robert. Do you know how much fun commercials could be again with this type of effort.

  3. P.s. Did you create this on the cintiq in photoshop?

  4. Thank you very much, Robert and Tony!

Tony-- Actually, this illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator with a mouse. I first roughed out the drawing with pencil and paper.

  7. Hey Tony,

I honestly don't know, as this is the very first CTN Expo. I'll be there selling my Sid Sirloin book, so it will be a new experience for me as well. From what I have seen so far, I'm quite impressed with the top-notch panels and guests that will be there. If it's not too much of a financial burden for you to fly out here, it might be worth your time and money, but of course you'll be the best judge of that. If you do decide to attend, please stop by my booth. It would be nice to finally meet you.

  9. Mark,

This illustration is looking like the Walter Clinton's design, which was very seen in various Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 50s and 60s.
