HEY THERE, IT'S YOGI BEAR!

I love these, Mark. Ranger Smith's face on the last one is absolutely hilarious. Too bad, it's all going to be a memory come December. Ace job, though.

Mark,

What happened with those topics which involved: an article from 1962 about Daws Butler, which was published on a magazine; and that Yogi Bear sunday page from 1967 (drawn by Iwao Takamoto)?

Hi Rod,

Those posts were mainly meant to be "place holders" until I can generate new artwork for the blog, which is what I have always meant this site to be about--my own artwork. I just didn't want so much time to elapse before I put up a new post.

We cannot forget that Yogi Bear - The Movie, a Hanna-Barbera/Warner Bros. production, which brings Yogi (voiced by Dan Aykroyd), Boo Boo (voiced by Justin Timberlake) and Cindy in virtual animation, plus Tom Cavanaugh (Ed TV) - as Ranger Smith - and Anna Faris at the cast, will premiere on the movies there in the USA on the next Christmas. Here in Brazil, the movie will premiere on the next January 21 (in the middle of the Brazilian summer vacations).
