I created the above illustration based on The Flintstones premiere episode, The Flintstone Flyer. The characters are owned and copyrighted by Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros.

That episode happens to be one of my all-time favorites from the series, a long with "The Prowler" and "The Split Personality."

Happy 50th anniversary!

It's become one of the most greatest TV cartoons ever made. All of the first season is a top-notch sign to watch. Beautiful work Mark!

Mark,

Love this drawing! You really captured the old designs. The Flinstone Flyer is still one of the best Flinstone episodes of all time.

Right on the money. You have Benadict and Bickenback down.
(If I spelt either name wrong I was to lazy to look them up.)

Love it! That's your work?? It certainly captured the style of it.

The episode was the first broadcast but the second or third (along with "Hot Lips Hangigan") produced; as most know, "The Swimming Pool" was the actual first made, but Fred and Barney are fighting, so ABC had to reschedule it...
